When it comes to having fun at the beach, the Gold Coast is the

nightlife and dining, a safe environment and world class resorts. If
you travel a short distance inland, you can visit three magnificent

options to choose from. There are famous nightclubs located on
Cavill Avenue and Orchid Avenue, plus two world-class nightclubs in

offering a wide range of cuisines in the pleasant, relaxing
surroundings.

much you want to spend, there will be something to suit. There are
more than 13,000 rooms available in the Gold Coast region, from
motels, guesthouses and apartments, right through to hotels and
resorts. Many of the big resorts are first class, including such
stunning locations as the Palazzo Versace, Marriot, Holiday Inn,
Marriot, Conrad Jupiters, Hyatt and the Sofitel. Most of these
provide water or Hinterland views, and are located centrally around
Surfers Paradise, Main Beach and Broadbeach.
The Gold Coast is served by two airports, the Gold Coast Airport at
Coolangatta, about 30 minutes south of Surfers Paradise, or Brisbane
Airport, about an hour north of Surfers Paradise. You can travel
from the airport via hire care, taxi, bus or limousine. There is
also a train from Brisbane to Robina, and plenty of local public
buses.
Any time is a great time to visit the Gold Coast, but if you like
major events, then check out when the next Indy Championship,
Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, Surf Carnival or Magic Millions Horse
Racing Carnival is on. That might just help you make up your mind
when to go to the Gold Coast.
