Visit
The Gold Coast For The Holiday Of A Lifetime
The Gold Coast is located in the Australian state of Queensland,
which is Australia's fasted growing state. The Gold Coast region is
one of Australia's fastest growing cities, which makes this an
exciting and vibrant part of Australia to visit.
Most of the Gold Coast region has temperate conditions, with the
average temperature ranging from 20° C (70° F) in summer to 12° C
(52° F) in winter. It can be a little cooler in the nearby mountains
and hinterland region.
It seems like everything about the Gold Coast is on a big scale, and
that includes fun. It doesn't matter what you like to do, you'll
find it in the Gold Coast region. You can snorkel, scuba dive, enjoy
eco-tourism, trek, hike, relax on a pristine beach, go for a long
drive, and lots more. The Gold Coast region is easy to travel
around, with an excellent network of roads, railways and airports
close by.
Sometimes it seems like the sandy beaches of the Gold Coast go on
forever, and it's possible to find everything from the thriving
bustle of the beach at Surfers Paradise, right through to a quiet
corner all to yourself.
If you've had enough of relaxing on the beach, you can always find a
beautiful golf course close by to while away a few enjoyable hours.
And once the sun goes down, the thriving Gold Coast nightlife starts
to buzz. Check out a nightclub, or enjoy the glitz and glamour of
Conrad Jupiters Casino.
If you've hired a car, you can take off for the mountains. Here you
can explore the beauties of nature, with three National Parks to
choose from, and plenty of opportunities to see the local fauna and
flora up close. There are also pretty mountain villages, craft shops
and lots of cosy places to dine.
Even with all these attractions, the Gold Coast has more - theme
parks. Allocate plenty of time to go exploring, with Dreamworld,
Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild sure to keep the whole family
busy and entertained for days on end.
